2023-2024 Go the Extra Mile Submission Form

 

The Junior League of Birmingham is coordinating service opportunities and drives for our members and our friends in the community. Please complete the form below if you have an idea for a project or a drive with which our volunteers can assist.

Service projects should:
• Be located in the Birmingham metro area
• Provide a hands-on experience for our members

Service projects should not:
• Be for a fundraising event or campaign
• Require ongoing relationships such a mentoring or tutoring programs
 
Examples of projects that will be considered – but are not limited to – playground renovation, garden or facility beautification, neighborhood cleanup, serving food to those who are underprivileged, etc. These are only examples and we are open to any project that can be done within a day and is in line with the mission of the Junior League of Birmingham.
 
Drives should:
• Be located in the Birmingham metro area
• Be for items needed by a non profit or program that helps meet their mission 
 
Examples of drives that will be considered – but are not limited to – canned food drive, peanut butter drive, book drive, period products/diapers drive, school supplies drive, toiletries drive, coat drive, sports gear drive, etc. These are only examples and we are open to any project that can be done within a day and is in line with the mission of the Junior League of Birmingham.
